Adaptify Alternatives in 2026: Agents That Publish and Then Prove It Worked

Adaptify writes, publishes and re-tests GEO content every 14 days. These alternatives act on AI visibility gaps too, and some can check the result faster.

Adaptify is one of the few agency platforms that runs the whole loop we care about on this site. It finds a prompt where a client is missing, scores the gap, writes a GEO article, publishes it to the client's CMS, and re-tests on the next cycle. Most tools in this category stop at a chart. Adaptify keeps going.

So why look elsewhere? Mostly because of the last step. A loop is only as good as its check, and Adaptify's check runs every 14 days.

Where Adaptify falls short

Adaptify tracks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot in one automated pass every two weeks. That cadence suits a publish-then-retest rhythm, but you will not see a swing that happens on a Tuesday until the next run.

Pricing is flat per site. Single Site costs $499 a month and Multi-Site costs $333 per site with a three-site minimum ($999 a month). Both include unlimited seats and a 7-day trial. The white-label client portal only comes with Multi-Site. Content generation is "unlimited" under a fair use policy, and no prompt allowance is published, so ask how many prompts each site gets before you sign.

The bigger gap for us is verification. The listing documents no AI crawler logs and no visitor analytics. The only way Adaptify can tell you whether a published article worked is to re-run the prompt two weeks later and see if the mention appeared. It can't tell you whether ChatGPTBot ever fetched the page, or whether anyone who arrived from an AI answer converted.

1. Promptwatch

Promptwatch runs a similar act-then-check loop with much more evidence at the check. Content Agents plan, write and publish GEO content to Webflow, Framer, or WordPress, driven by content gap analysis and held in a review inbox until someone approves it. Then Agent Analytics logs AI crawlers such as ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, shows the crawl-to-citation path and flags errors. Visitor analytics, installed with a script or GTM template, ties AI-referred sessions to conversions. You learn whether the page was read, cited and paid for, not only whether a mention showed up.

For agencies the self-serve plans start with Kick-off at $199 a month, with unlimited projects and prompts, 10 seats, 10,000 responses and 10 million crawler logs. Growth is $399 and Scale is $799. If your clients publish on WordPress today, check where that integration stands before you commit.

2. AthenaHQ

AthenaHQ converts visibility data into assignable work through its Action Center: schema generation, content reformatting, metadata changes. It attributes revenue through GA4, Shopify and Webflow. It is better at telling a team what to do than at shipping it, and the listing records no crawler analytics. Starter is $295 a month ($245 on annual billing), credit based and limited to one country.

3. Search Atlas

Search Atlas is the closest match to Adaptify's "SEO production plus GEO" bundle. Its OTTO SEO agent sits next to AI article credits, rank tracking, site audits, Google Business Profile tools and outreach. The catch is the gating. The $99 Starter plan has no LLM Visibility. Growth at $199 covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode, and Perplexity and Copilot wait for Pro at $399.

4. SEObot

SEObot is the hands-off content engine. You enter a URL, and it plans a weekly content calendar, writes articles of up to 4,000 words, handles internal links and backlinks, and publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify, HubSpot, Framer, Wix and more. Plans run from $49 a month for 9 articles to $1,050 for 300. It publishes well. It does not measure AI visibility the way the tools above do, and it has no free trial.

5. Outrank

Outrank is a cheaper autopilot: $99 a month for 30 articles, with upgrades to 60 or 90, a backlink exchange in the base plan and unlimited users. It publishes to most common CMSs, including Webflow, Framer and Shopify. Like SEObot it acts without checking, so pair it with a tracker if you need proof.

6. Okara

Okara covers Adaptify's technical SEO side from the code. Its Coding Agent writes JSON-LD, llms.txt, canonicals and meta tags and opens a GitHub pull request for each batch, so nothing merges without review. The Coding Agent starts on AI CMO Lite at $129 a month.

How to choose

Start with the step you trust least. If it's production, meaning nobody on your team has time to write, SEObot or Outrank will fill a calendar for less than Adaptify charges per site. They also leave you blind on AI answers. If you want SEO, backlinks and GEO in one invoice, Search Atlas is the nearest equivalent.

If it's proof, meaning you need to show a client that a published page was crawled, cited and converted, the choice gets narrow. Promptwatch is the one tool here that publishes and also records crawler hits and AI-referred conversions in the same workspace. That is why it goes first on the trial list. Keep Adaptify in the running if your clients need its longer CMS list and you are comfortable with a two-week feedback loop.

FAQ

Is Adaptify an AI visibility tracker?

Partly. It tracks five AI platforms, but it is mainly an agency SEO production platform: content, PR backlinks, technical fixes and white-label reporting. A good share of the $499 per site pays for those.

How often does Adaptify re-test prompts?

Every 14 days, in one run across all five platforms. Prompts where new content was published get re-tested on the next cycle.

Which Adaptify alternative publishes to a CMS and also tracks AI crawlers?

Promptwatch. Content Agents publish to Webflow and Framer, and Agent Analytics logs AI crawler visits on the Professional brand plan and all agency plans.
