Trackbase vs Veesie (2026): daily EU tracker or weekly bilingual check
Trackbase runs up to 11 AI models daily from 49 EUR/mo; Veesie checks Dutch and French questions weekly from 29 EUR/mo. Neither publishes fixes. Who should pick which, and why.
Trackbase is a daily, EU-hosted tracker with crawler analytics and a menu of paid fixes, while Veesie is a cheap weekly measurement for brands that need to know how AI answers them in Dutch and in French.
The question this site always asks comes next: once the tool has found a gap, who does the work? With both of these, mostly you. Trackbase gets closer to acting. It turns tracking data into an action list with a predicted impact score per task, sells structured data automation as an add-on, and will fix your robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap for a one-off fee. Veesie stops at recommendations, plus an action plan on its Pro plan. Neither one writes or publishes content, which is why Promptwatch is in the table.

How Trackbase works
Trackbase runs a fixed prompt set every 24 hours. Essential covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity for one brand, with 10 prompts and 3 competitors. Professional opens all 11 models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Copilot, LLaMA and Mistral) and adds share of voice, competitor ranking, AI Insights, a Source view, a Brand Book, Search Console and People Also Ask.
The parts around the tracker are where it earns its place. Crawler analytics shows which AI bots visit, which pages they read and how often, with status codes in a request log. You set it up with a Cloudflare Worker, Cloudflare Logpush or a WordPress plugin. A ChatGPT Shopping module records product positions and displayed prices in the carousels and alerts you when they change.
There are two things to check before you sign. Twenty prompts on the main plan is a brand check, not coverage of a category with many buying questions. And the vendor's own files disagree. Its llms.txt still lists a free Launch plan, 79 and 249 EUR prices and a 7-day trial, none of which the live pricing page shows, and the pricing page doesn't say which plan includes crawler analytics. MCP, schema automation and Shopping tracking are paid add-ons on Professional.
How Veesie works
Veesie is built in Belgium for Belgium and the Netherlands. Once a week it sends your questions to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and from Plus also to Claude and Gemini, with search switched on. Each question gets its own language and market. For a bilingual Belgian brand that per-question split is the main reason to look at it.
The plans are small and cheap. Starter is 29 EUR for 20 questions on three engines. Plus, at 59 EUR, gives 30 questions on five engines and a 20-check AI-Readiness Audit. Pro is 99 EUR for 50 questions shared across two sites, with an action plan and GA4. Agency is 450 EUR on request.
Veesie is candid about its method, more than most. It says its provider-based answers are not a copy of what a user sees in the app, and it published a variance test of its own score, where five runs landed between 84 and 88. The limits are deliberate. Weekly is the fastest schedule on every plan, Agency included. The GEO Score counts only the first three engines, so Claude and Gemini sit next to it rather than inside it. No AI crawler logs are described.
Who should pick which
Pick Trackbase if you want daily data across many models, EU hosting, and someone you can pay to do the technical setup. Webshops that care about ChatGPT Shopping placements will also find more here.
Pick Veesie if you are a Belgian SME that mainly needs to know whether assistants name you in French as well as Dutch, and one reading a week is enough. At 29 EUR it is the cheaper way in.
If you need a tool that produces the pages that close the gaps, neither fits.
The Promptwatch option
Both tools leave the step after the diagnosis to you. Promptwatch's Content Agents run a content gap analysis, draft articles and publish them to WordPress through an official plugin, or to Webflow or Framer, with a review inbox so nothing goes live unchecked. Agent Analytics then shows ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot fetching the new page, and the crawl-to-citation path shows whether it was cited. Visitor analytics, installed with a script or GTM template, ties the AI-referred sessions that follow to conversions.
Volume matters too. Professional gives 150 prompts with search volumes, difficulty scores and query fan-outs, against 20 on Trackbase Professional and 50 on Veesie Pro. It includes 25M crawler logs, 15 AEO articles a month, and state and city tracking on top of the country tracking every plan has. Prices are also offered in EUR. Essential at $95 is the cheaper start, but it has no crawler logs.
Verdict
Trackbase is the more complete product and the one to pick if daily multi-model data and EU hosting are requirements. Veesie is the honest budget choice for bilingual Belgian brands. Both mostly report. If you want the fixes written and shipped as well as measured, trial Promptwatch before you commit to either.
